Credit Intern

**Internship runs May 18th, 2026 - August 7th, 2026.**

Credit Interns are responsible for analyzing credit information on existing customers to determine if they are in compliance with financial reporting and financial loan covenants in relation to borrower's loan agreements. Interns are responsible for clearing financial reporting exceptions, spreading financial statements, and completing covenant compliance memorandums.

Essential Duties

1. Spread and evaluate various types of personal and commercial financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flow, and tax returns.
2. Independently contact available internal resources and/or clients for financial information when necessary.
3. Monitor borrower loan covenants including financial covenants and the submission of timely financial statement reporting.
4. Create and update ticklers and manage completion of compliance certificates.
5. Maintain effective relationships with Credit Analysts, Regional Credit Manager, and Loan Review staff.
6. Ensure that procedures and credits comply with City Bank's loan policy.
7. Other job duties as required by the Regional Credit Managers or Manager of Commercial Credit Underwriting.
