We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to patients through direct interaction, phone communication, and support with medical equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate will be dependable, personable, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment. *Key Responsibilities:* * Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. * Respond to patient inquiries via phone; return messages promptly and accurately. * Facilitate over-the-counter sales of soft goods and medical accessories. * Dispense medical equipment and supplies billed to insurance, including walkers, bath safety items, mobility aids, and orthopedic supports. * Provide clear and thorough instruction to patients on the use and care of dispensed items. * Unpack and organize incoming shipments (up to 30 lbs). * Assemble medical equipment as needed. * Accurately enter patient demographics and other relevant data into the system. *Required Skills & Qualifications:* * Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM (typing test required). * Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. * Proficient in data entry with high attention to detail. * Experience in a call center or healthcare setting preferred. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team. *Preferred Experience:* * Previous experience in a healthcare or medical supply environment. * Familiarity with insurance billing and patient instruction for medical equipment. * Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. *Top Skills:* * Customer Service * Data Entry * Healthcare Communication * Call Center Operations *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
