Care At Home - Who we are: https://youtu.be/FJpe-cbaA7g?si=ula_iBAkPPb7PTPm (Copy and paste into browser) The Prior Authorization Supervisor reports to the Assistant Director of Medication Access (TBD). This position supports and oversees the functions of the Prior Authorization for all medicaitons, inclusive of ambulatory, infusion, and injectable therapies. External contacts also include multiple payers, prescription benefit management companies, governmental peer review organizations and referring physician, which supports the established reimbursement cycle, including problem research, analyzing and timely resolution. Responsible for the daily supervision and operation of the Prior Authorization Medication Access team, and works closely with the Patient Assistant Program team. The position works closely with hospital employees on multiple levels, operations and leadership for coordination of patients care. This relationships are inherent to the success of this position. The position will ensure the highest level of quality and customer service is maintained. Specific duties include, creates performance improvement initiatives and educates mentors staff regarding new process changes. Team policy and process improvement, staffing assessment, collecting and monitoring staff productivity, customer service and employee complaints, assisting with hiring, disciplinary action, training and evaluations of staff. Education:
Salary Range: Minimum 23.27/hour - Maximum 40.91/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
