*Description*
Our client is a leader in four key telecommunications sectors: * LMR (Land Mobile Radio) * IBS/IDAS (In-Building Systems / Distributed Antenna Systems) * ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) * Security Systems They are actively engaged in a variety of in-building wireless projects, with a strong pipeline of work over the next several years. These initiatives include the construction and maintenance of wireless access points across facilities in the Federal, State, and Local government, as well as the education, transportation, and healthcare sectors. This particular role supports the BWI Central Office stand-up project, which is expected to span approximately two years. Candidates with experience in carrier site builds, tower installations, DAS, and radio systems are strongly preferred. Technicians may be cross-utilized across other ongoing projects as needed. *Position Overview* We are seeking a DAS/Central Office Install Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the wireless telecommunications space. The technician will work in teams of 3-4, typically consisting of 1 Lead Technician and 2-3 supporting techs. *Key Responsibilities* * Install and terminate coaxial cable * Perform rack and stack installations * Execute proper cable dressing and labeling * Support fiber optic tasks including pulling, testing, and terminating (splicing is a plus but not required) Most DAS systems deployed are coax and fiber-based, so hands-on experience with both is essential. *Top Skills* * Minimum 2 years of cable installation experience, including coaxial and fiber optic cables. Experience specific to DAS systems is highly desirable. * Proven ability to oversee ISP and network cable construction, with hands-on expertise in rack and stack installations, cable terminations, and testing of coax and fiber. * Strong work ethic and growth mindset, with a demonstrated willingness to learn, upskill, and consistently deliver reliable performance. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
