Pay Range: $29.58 - $45.00/hour

What You'll Do

As a CNC Machinist Programmer, you'll set up and program a variety of CNC machines-including grinders, mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment-to fabricate precision ceramic parts. You'll work closely with operators and engineers to develop, troubleshoot, and improve machining programs and processes.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Program and set up CNC machines for production and prototype parts
  • Verify conformance of finished parts and adjust programs as needed
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and resolve quality concerns
  • Calculate and set machining parameters (speed, coolant flow, depth, etc.)
  • Train machinists, operators, and engineers on programming and machining practices
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine machining requirements
  • Research and implement new tools, programs, and processes
  • Support new part development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Use G & M codes to control multi-axis grinding operations
  • Complete First Article and New Part Introduction processes
  • Maintain compliance with ITAR, ISO, and internal policies
  • Communicate effectively with peers and managers
  • Use CAD, SolidWorks, and CAM software; basic knowledge of 5-axis programming


What You'll Bring



  • High school diploma (required); Associate degree preferred
  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience or completion of a 2-year Machine Technology certificate
  • 4+ years of experience with mechanical inspection and CMM
  • Ability to read and follow verbal/written instructions in English
  • Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and GD&T
  • Strong vision and depth perception for inspection tools
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Experience training or mentoring operators in machining practices
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to work in an ITAR-regulated environment
