JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Pricing Analyst will support the design, execution and tracking of pricing decisions and impacts covering our services, parts, and contract sales. They will conduct high-level analysis to help company executives make data-informed decisions on pricing initiatives and pricing strategy of the company. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Work closely with branch management to provide timely pricing insights and analysis on branch performance.
- Develop pricing models to analyze potential pricing strategies and price opportunities.
- Provide accurate pricing and profitability analysis to help guide decision making.
- Carry out primary and secondary market analysis to maintain a competitive pricing position in the market.
- Carry out internal pricing tests to help optimize the right mix of revenue, profitability, market share, and team utilization.
- Execute competitor analysis including detailed competitor mapping and profiling.
- Partner with analytics and Salesforce teams on enhancements aligned to pricing initiatives.
- Participate in training efforts for newly acquired businesses and existing branch technicians on Summit's pricing approach and related tools.
- Support Summit's central training team in building programs for sales negotiations, opportunity identification, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Coordinate with procurement and technology teams to ensure changes to input costs are appropriately accounted for and reflected within the relevant internal systems.

QUALIFICATIONS: The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully; however, in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications. Education, Training, Certifications:
- High school Diploma, or equivalent, required.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, marketing, or related field, preferred.
Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in the fire life safety industry, or related service, construction, or manufacturing industry, preferred.
- 2+ years' experience in relevant Pricing or Analytics role.
- Ability to build relationships with business leadership, sales teams, and technicians across the branch network.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights.
Communication Skills:
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English with employees, customers, and board of directors.
- Must have the ability to effectively present complex issues to various levels of stakeholders, and facilitate training sessions with various levels of leadership.
Systems and Software Skills:
- Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and Salesforce.
- Experience with BI, Alteryx, EPM, or related data analytics program.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Other Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, required.
- Familiarity with life safety-industry processes and technical terms is an asset.
- Must be able to comply with Summit's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
