The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic Maintenance Technicianto work on our Facility Maintenance team. No experience? No problem. On the job training provided for this role!

What You'll Do

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance functions at Saint Luke's Health
Systems locations. This work includes, but is not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration.
They will be responsible for responding to maintenance calls and conducting regular inspections within
their scope of work. Maintenance Technicians also have the responsibility to maintain professional
relationships with Saint Luke's Health System leads and staff.

Requirements and Qualifications

Required:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 0-3 years' work experience.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License. Driving may be a requirement of this position. If so, an
  • acceptable DMV is required.
  • The candidate must be detail-oriented, documenting processes and procedures as they relate to
  • the position as well as any incidents that may occur.
  • Able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Computer Skills: The incumbent must have basic computer skills.
  • Customer Service - responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to
  • improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.
  • Interpersonal Skills - focuses on resolving conflict; maintains confidentiality; listens to others without interrupting, keeps emotions under control; remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.
  • Reading and Comprehension: The incumbent must be able to read, analyze, and interpret basic
  • business correspondence.
  • Oral Communication - speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens
  • and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings.
  • Written Communication - write clearly and informatively; edit work for spelling and grammar.

  • Mathematical Skills: The incumbent must be able to use general math and
  • construction/engineering mathematics skills.
  • Planning/Organizing - prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently.
  • Technical Skills - assesses own strengths and weaknesses; pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

EPA 608 Universal Certification is required within 90 days of hire.
