Summary of Job Duties:The Administrative Coordinator for the Psychiatric Research Institute (PRI) Behavioral Health Service Line Ambulatory Programs provides a full range of administrative and organizational support, with the ability to work independently, with little to no supervision. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED plus six (6) years of administrative/administrative support experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, or related, plus two (2) years of administrative/administrative support experience
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills required
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday knowledge and experience
  • EPIC and EPIC Templates knowledge and competency

Job Requirements:

  • The Administrative Coordinator will interact with faculty and staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • The Administrative Coordinator will be assigned various projects, will prepare & analyze reports, and will assist the Assistant Service Line Administrator in coordinating the daily operations within the outpatient programs.
  • The duties of the Administrative Coordinator contribute in the effort to further the mission of UAMS: To improve the health and health care of Arkansans.
  • Coordinates staffing schedules, maintains employee records, and serves as payroll timekeeper
  • Assists in the procurement of supplies by obtaining quotes, placing orders, tracking supplies, and troubleshooting back orders
  • Collaborates with Human Resources to post positions, assist with employee evaluation paperwork and scheduling, and ensure compliance with annual requirements
  • Performs administrative duties, including processing purchase requisitions and travel, managing calendars and schedules, coordinating meetings, answering the telephone, and maintaining files and documents
  • Perform other duties as needed.
