Job Description

Lone Star's Analysis Associate position category includes a number of Science, Technology, and Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) roles as well as Intelligence, Competitive Intelligence, Operations Research and Management Sciences (OR/MS).

This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance. Security clearance may only be granted to U.S. Citizens. In addition, applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to government security investigation(s) and must meet eligibility for access to classified information.

Responsibilities


  • Support research to frame models and simulations for Lone Star clients and, for Lone Star
  • Support research to develop inputs for models and simulations for clients and, for Lone Star
  • Discovery and analysis across multiple disciplines and domains
  • Work in a probabilistic context
  • Comply to disciplined processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Requirements


  • Must be comfortable with the prospect of working across several industries (Aerospace, Defense, Manufacturing, Energy, Transportation, Logistics, and Telecom) and across several domains (Operations, Asset Management, Maintenance, Technology, and Others) as required
  • Must be highly collaborative and capable of working in a team-based environment
  • Collaboration and team-based technology development, audits and peer reviews
  • Ability to travel to client sites
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of hire date

Additional Qualities


  • Use of data bases, data base scripting, queries such as SQL, Power BI, Excel, etc.
  • Integrating cross-domain factors into modeling, simulation, and decisions
  • Familiarity with knowledge and data mining
  • Technical skills in data acquisition (elicitation, facilitation, research)

Education & Experience


  • Must have at least a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or STEM discipline.
