Job Summary Develops and deploys strategy to ensure proper flow of material in assigned areas. Leads and engages the Production Inventory Assistants to manage transfer of materials, flow and quality inspections. Executes the directives from the Production Control Manager to ensure the site is achieving its targets and focusing on operational key performance indicators (KPIs). 2nd Shift Schedule is Monday - Thursday; 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING *Oversees the distribution of work orders to areas and maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production. May expedite material to meet production needs. *Oversees the finished goods operations to complete packaging and documentation within database systems. *Collaborates with Production Control Manager on the need to revise schedules due to the availability of staff, parts, material, machines and equipment. *Ensures appropriate work in progress inventory material flow and control within the plant utilizing established procedures. *Gathers data necessary to develop KPIs, inventory control and safety statistics. *Provides feedback for Production Inventory Assistants on employee evaluations, counseling's, disciplinary actions, etc. *Performs additional duties as assigned. WHAT YOU WILL NEED *Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. *2 years of applicable technical experience in a manufacturing environment or similar work. *Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft software suite with advanced knowledge in Power Point, Excel, Word, Smart Sheet, and Outlook. *Technical background understanding computer systems. *Effective communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications *Supervisory, leadership or training experience. *APICS or similar Supply Chain Management Certification. *Project Management experience. *Oracle or other ERP database experience.
