As an Assistant Branch Sales Manager, you'll support our mission of delivering exceptional service and financial solutions to our members. In this leadership role, you'll help guide and motivate branch staff, support daily operations, and drive results through member engagement and service excellence. You'll play a key role in fostering a collaborative environment that supports growth, problem-solving, and professional development.



What You'll Do


Member & Team Support



  • Assist members and staff by responding to product and service inquiries, resolving problems, and escalating complex issues when needed.
  • Support scheduling, training, and oversight of Financial Services Officers to ensure excellent member service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate member records and assist with documentation and filing requirements.


Operational Excellence



  • Assist in identifying and improving departmental operations, methods, and procedures.
  • Communicate with the credit operations department to facilitate and expedite member requests.
  • Support the decision-making process by delivering approvals, denials, or counter-offers while accurately documenting and explaining terms and conditions.


Sales & Service Development



  • Interview members to assess financial needs and recommend appropriate UKFCU products and services.
  • Participate in sales development activities and maintain required licensure for offering specific services.
  • Promote UKFCU services by cross-selling products and educating members on features and benefits.


Team Collaboration & Compliance



  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold member and employee trust.
  • Assist in resolving member concerns with professionalism and follow-up.
  • Ensure adherence to UKFCU policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technology, and competitive offerings.
  • Contribute to branch and corporate goals through teamwork and initiative


Qualifications

Who You Are

Experience & Education



  • 2-5 years of similar or related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Skills & Strengths



  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve issues and provide guidance.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Competent with PC applications, ten-key calculators, and basic math functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
