The ERP leader will lead our global Oracle EBS team in designing, configuring, deploying and supporting Oracle's eBusinessSuite platform in collaboration with multiple business functions.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Collaborate & Roadmap: Aggregate demand from internal partners to develop and maintain annual launch roadmaps that are aligned to Digital strategy, people goals and budget.
  • Plan: Develop annual budget to operate & maintain the platform and optimize the platform cost structure. Assist the digital business partners with business case development, solution optioning, technical feasibility and cost estimates. Develop robust tools to track and manage resource capacity and utilization within the team.
  • Architect & Implement: Own the platform architecture including the fully integrated ERP ecosystem and develop a "best-in-class" approach to ERP deployment & cutovers while using Agile methodologies.
  • Innovate & Transform: Develop and disseminate a shared understanding of business capabilities that can be developed on the platform, and how they can be used to solve business problems and transform nVent's operations. Assess technology trends and develop a "forward thinking" platform direction.
  • Lead: Grow and lead technical and functional talent ensuring the team is right-sized and has the skills & knowledge to operate the platform.
  • Operate: Own defining and meeting platform SLAs around resiliency, stability, security, and operations. Identify and prioritize technical launches/patches to ensure the continued health, stability, resiliency of the platform & minimize technical debt.
  • Partner: Own vendor relationship and licensing; optimize vendor ecosystem to meet platform SLAs and invest/divest depending on lifecycle roadmap. Develop relationships with external service providers to quickly extend resource capacity and/or to optimize support quality/cost.
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Information Systems or Operations research. MBA highly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP delivery and cutovers in Manufacturing using Oracle's eBusinessSuite platform.
  • Experience leading mid-sized teams (10+ people).
  • Strong understanding of financial and supply chain operational process flows (i.e., order to cash, procure to pay, record to report).
  • Confirmed ability to manage external consultants and system integrators.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and simplicity on technical and non-technical matters spanning from strategy through to execution.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities for self and team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills and the ability to lead & influence cross functional and multinational teams.
  • Good grasp of Agile delivery (prior working experience is not a must)
  • Ability to travel domestically on a quarterly basis and internationally on an annual basis.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$146,300.00 - $271,700.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
