Job Title: Collision Technician II
Reports To: Lead Collision Technician
Scope: This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing damaged motor coaches and other commercial vehicles.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and refurbishes motor coaches, commercial and non-commercial vehicles and other vehicles, both towed and driven
- Understands and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures
- Compliance with all local, State, and Federal regulations applicable to operations, buildings, grounds, and personnel including EPA, OSHA, and DOT
- Specific duties and responsibilities are determined by individual collision technician training, certification, knowledge, skill, and experience
- Other Duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Requires good organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments within expected time frames
- Employee must possess the tools necessary to complete assigned responsibilities
- Experience with post pulling jack
- Must have welding experience or certification in a welding program and knowledge of laser alignment procedures
- Previous experience in a collision/frame shop and or collision related education
Skills:
- Must be a self-starter and possess a positive attitude
- Must have good attendance
- Must be willing to travel, with possible work on the weekends/overtime
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift/pull up too 100lbs
