As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for retaining and growing our existing book of business, developing and executing renewal strategies, and building strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders. About the Role As a Mid-Market Associate Renewal Representative I, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, each with unique needs and challenges. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective renewal strategies, identifying opportunities for growth, and providing exceptional service to our clients. You will also collaborate with our sales team to promote broker and agent development, and work closely with internal partners to ensure seamless execution of renewal processes. Important to Know
- Must reside in Miami, FL or surrounding area
- Requires frequent travel for field training, strategizing, building, and maintaining business relationships.
- Hold a current State of Florida Health and Life Insurance License (2-15 OR 2-14 + 2-40) or obtain within 90 Days
- Valid State Driver's License
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop, coordinate and implement renewal strategies for in force Mid Group clients. Including but no limited to, the development, coordination and distribution of enrollment materials and enrollment educational sessions.
- Coordinate and strategize cross-selling opportunities of ancillary lines of coverage on existing in force health insurance book of business.
- Promote broker and agent development through a monthly joint broker development plan developed in conjunction with new sales team to achieve retention goals. Plans to include education on Florida Blue products, sales processes, policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage external and internal partners through the renewal implementation process for assigned accounts.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal business partners and external agents required for renewal of business.
What You Must Have
- 2+ years related work experience including volunteer work and internships
- Related Bachelor's degree
- Hold a current State of Florida Health and Life Insurance License (2-15 OR 2-14 + 2-40) or 90 Days
Valid Florida Driver's License to visit agents and clients - Ability to work independently and develop alternative renewal strategies to achieve retention objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically think, plan, and execute.
- Ability to develop and manage the day-to-day relationship with brokers/agents and clients. Ability to prioritize and manage issue resolution for internal and external partners
- Superior organizational and communication skills.

- Targeted Hiring Range: $57,700 - $72,150
- Annualized Salary Range: $57,700 - $73,800
- Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
