Position Summary:
Researches, designs, implements, and continual improvement of Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Federated Identities, and cyber security functions within the Hospital. This is a hybrid position based in Boston, with periodic onsite responsibilities based on business/department needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and continual improvement of Identity and Access Management applications.
  • Support of Industry-standard provisioning and cybersecurity solutions that include but are not limited to: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign On, Privileged Access Manager Solution (PAM), and Role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Researches and identifies the requirements of Identity & Access Management needs by analyzing vendor-provided and internally developed solutions to meet the integrated needs of multiple departments.
  • Provides technical support to peers, clinical staff, operating staff, application staff, research computing, and end user services.
  • Design and implement customizations to the computer environment as required to meet the needs of the Children's Hospital User Community. Drafting or assisting with drafting minutes for circulation and review.
  • Recording decisions and purposes, as well as agreements on the distribution of responsibilities and timeliness.
  • Creating or assisting in creating all necessary documentation for IT, administrative, and clinical partners.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field required. An associate's degree with 2 years of related experience or high school diploma/GED with an additional 4 years of related experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.

Experience:

  • Three years of experience required, experience working within Identity & Access Management area preferred.
  • Technical skills including Active Directory, SAML, Modern Auth (OAuth/OIDC), AD/LDS, TSQL required.
