We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant for Polar Semiconductor's Accounts Payable team. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end AP process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and financial policies. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial accounting, a strong understanding of AP systems, AP automation software/implementation, and have a proactive approach to process improvement.

  • Assist with the daily operations of the Accounts Payable team, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payments
  • Lead or assist with AP-related projects such as ERP upgrades, automation initiatives, and process redesigns
  • Champion change management efforts, including training and communication for new tools and procedures
  • Collaborate with IT, Purchasing, and Finance teams to implement system enhancements and workflow improvements
  • Review and process high-value invoices, payment batches, and journal entries in accordance with existing and evolving company policies
  • Monitor AP aging reports and resolve outstanding issues with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve AP processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and internal departments to resolve disputes and ensure smooth operations
  • Support financial audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Analyze AP metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned to support the overall success of Accounts Payable
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, AP best practices, and ERP systems (GP, Business Central, NetSuite)
  • Understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties
  • Experience with the close and audit processes
  • Experience with Rillion AP Automation is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP rules
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

The estimated base salary range for the position is $90,000-$110,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job-related experience, skills and level of the position.
