Telecommunications Project Manager

Essential Responsibilities:

• Champion and uphold Ledcor's safety-first culture, ensuring all safety and environmental standards are met or exceeded on telecom construction sites.
• Lead or support the planning and execution of large-scale telecommunications projects, including fiber deployments, small cell installations, and wireless tower builds.
• Manage or contribute to risk management, permitting, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in or lead the identification and pursuit of new telecom project opportunities.
• Oversee or assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Support or lead the implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure compliance with telecom construction standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Negotiate or support contract execution and change order management.
• Help establish and manage project systems, including cost tracking, reporting, and documentation.

Qualifications:

We're hiring for multiple levels of project management roles in telecommunications construction. Ideal candidates will bring a mix of the following:

• For senior-level roles: 8+ years of telecom or utility construction project management experience, with a proven track record of leading large, complex infrastructure builds.
• For mid-level roles: 4-7 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility in telecom project coordination or management.
• Education in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred; diploma or technical training accepted).
• Strong understanding of telecom construction methods, permitting processes, and industry standards (e.g., NESC, NEC, local codes).
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience with contract negotiation, cost control, and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• This position provides a flexible working environment, balancing your responsibilities between the comfort of your home office and the collaborative environment of our office spaces
• Travel up to 25% of the time to various Ledcor project sites and offices
