STRATEGIC WORKFORCE PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER / D24D Federal Programs FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Exempt PAYBAND: 15 SUMMARY: Provide leadership, supervision, oversight, and support for the implementation of Adult Education and Family Literacy (AEFL) federal grants, Jobs for American Graduates (JAG) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) contracts. Represent the agency in operations related to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) state plan with other core partners throughout the state. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor’s Degree PREFERRED: · Knowledge of career and technology education ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide leadership and assistance at the state and local level for implementing federal legislation, including AEFL, JAG and TANF. SALARY/BENEFITS: $66,375.5 - $74,861.82 commensurate with education or experience. · The state provides a benefit allowance to help you pay for insurance premiums which include health, dental, life and disability insurance. Total salary and benefits package valued at $82,088.01 - $91,213.09. MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY: Supervision, including performance reviews of AEFL, JAG, and (TANF) staff. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Requires ability to read, analyze, and interpret federal legislation, professional journals, financial reports, and legal documents as necessary; to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals; ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Requires ability to apply moderately complex mathematical calculations. REASONING SKILLS: Requires ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Requires ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
