RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data creation



  • Creating and maintaining key data elements to ensure accurate output for materials
  • Responsible for monitoring and approving new material creation, ensuring new material master data meets all standards and requirements
  • Work within the Material Workflows as is aligned to performance expectations



Data quality



  • Ensure the highest level of data quality, integrity, and service
  • Support developing and improving master data management to increase operational efficiency and strengthen data governance
  • Identify data quality issues and work with the business to determine sustainable solutions
  • Create/maintain reports and dashboards on data quality, analyze and make recommendations as needed
  • Ability to query data from databases



Data stewardship



  • Support engineering life cycle management team through material change workflows
  • Act as a resource for incoming team members and a liaison to other departments that have requests.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service to internal and external customers and ensure business service level agreements are met
  • Investigating and interpreting information using a variety of internal and external sources
  • Serve as the expert on material master to local region



Data governance



  • Collaborate within master data teams to ensure measurables are prioritized, scoped, assessed, and delivered on time.
  • Enforce Governance policies over domain across the business
  • Participate in creation of master data standards
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement efforts around the domain
  • Various projects as assigned



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:



  • Master Data Management or Data Scientist or Engineering Data degree
  • Previous material master data and/or data management experience preferred
  • Efficient data entry skills to manage the workload
  • Previous experience running and reviewing reports preferred
  • SAP experience preferred, especially with material master data
  • Basic Excel

  • Intermediate PC and PC application skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a global team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to query data from databases, analyze and make recommendations as needed
  • Managing multiple priorities


Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $56,900 - 85,300 Annualized
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
