Compensation Grade: P23Compensation Details: Minimum: $86,019.00 - Maximum: $86,019.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OHEHR) Office of Health Equity and Human RightsJob Description: Responsibilities Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Health Program Coordinator I to work in the Office of Health Equity and Human Rights (OHEHR) within the New York State Department of Health. The Health Program Coordinator I will be responsible for coordinating policy activities; priority setting; and program planning, development, implementation, and monitoring activities supporting the Office of Health Equity and Human Rights Executive Team's priorities and initiatives. The Health Program Coordinator I will coordinate a variety of special projects overseen by the Office of Health Equity and Human Rights Executive Team, including developing reports and other written documents. The Health Program Coordinator I will provide technical assistance and perform evaluation activities. Other relevant duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Preferred Qualifications At least two years of experience in program monitoring and/or evaluation; at least two years of experience performing data analysis/management; at least two years of experience preparing written materials, including grant reports, guidance tools, and job aides; at least two years of experience working with complex data sets in relational to database creation and maintenance; at least two years of database creation and maintenance experience. Experience working with a variety of stakeholders (i.e. government representatives, community leaders, underserved communities, community-based organizations, academic and research organizations, etc.). Experience developing and delivering presentations, training, technical assistance, and reports. Demonstrated, strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, 25% of the time, will be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
