Join Chromalloy as an Engineering Systems Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our global engineering teams have seamless access to cutting-edge software and tools. From managing helpdesk operations to leading software lifecycle planning, this role is at the heart of our digital engineering ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead Global Support: Manage the Engineering Systems Helpdesk and coordinate support teams across the U.S. and Asia to ensure timely resolution of software-related issues.
  • Own the Software Roadmap: Collaborate with technical stakeholders to define and maintain the engineering software roadmap, staying ahead of emerging technologies.
  • Version Control & Deployment: Plan and execute software version upgrades for key tools like Siemens NX/CAD, NX/CAM, MiniTab, OQTON ControlX & DesignX, ANSYS, and PTC/CREO.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with engineering teams to evaluate and test new software versions, ensuring compatibility and readiness for production.
  • License & Budget Oversight: Manage annual software renewals, including budgeting, procurement, and license tracking.
  • Standards & Compliance: Oversee the development and vetting of engineering computer standards in collaboration with Engineering and IT.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot high-priority software issues, working closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve them efficiently.
  • Safety & Security: Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with ITAR/export control regulations to protect technical data and IP.


Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred; minimum of a technical degree in Computer Information Systems Management.
  • 10+ years in engineering digital tools management.
  • 2+ years leading, mentoring, and developing technical teams.
  • Proven success operating within matrixed organizations.


Technical Expertise:



  • Hands-on experience implementing/administering engineering design and analysis tools (e.g., Siemens NX, PTC/Creo, ANSYS, StarCCM).
  • Skilled in documenting tool practices and delivering department-wide training.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus.


Leadership & Communication:



  • Strong change management skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Effective trainer with experience presenting to large technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent at building relationships and influencing across functions.


Preferred Experience:



  • Experience in aerospace, medical devices, or other highly regulated industries (ITAR/Export Control) preferred.
