The Project Manager will support healthcare planning and infrastructure initiatives, with a focus on delivering high-impact projects for federal healthcare clients. This role is responsible for overseeing healthcare architecture and engineering projects through all phases-from strategy and requirements analysis to execution and performance review. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams, manage contract and budget oversight, and serve as a key point of contact for federal clients. The role emphasizes analytical planning, stakeholder coordination, and performance-driven execution across complex and sensitive project environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Healthcare Facility Project Manager: $
Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan, lead, and manage large-scale healthcare architecture and engineering projects, with a strong emphasis on federal client delivery.
  • Serve as the primary interface for clients, overseeing engagement quality, performance metrics, and client satisfaction.
  • Direct project execution, including budget management, contract oversight, and coordination of technical teams.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable solutions aligned with healthcare delivery goals and facility needs.
  • Ensure projects comply with federal standards and DoD/VA design guidelines, including UFC and Joint Commission requirements.
  • Support project reporting, milestone tracking, and risk mitigation efforts to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Apply subject matter expertise in healthcare facility planning, infrastructure assessment, and space utilization optimization.
  • Coordinate across architectural, engineering, and planning disciplines to deliver integrated and effective solutions.

Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities Requested:

Education:

  • Master's degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Registered Architect (RA), Professional Engineer (PE), or PMP certification preferred.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in healthcare architecture/engineering, with demonstrated success managing federal sector projects.
  • Strong track record of leading multi-million-dollar, high-visibility initiatives in complex environments.
  • Experience engaging directly with government stakeholders and navigating federal planning standards and processes.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Expert in healthcare facility design and strategic infrastructure planning.
  • Skilled in project controls, contract review/approval, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Familiarity with federal healthcare delivery systems, including DHA, VA, and MILCON standards.

Abilities:

  • Proven leadership in managing cross-disciplinary project teams and driving results in dynamic, compliance-sensitive environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical and strategic requirements into practical, implementable project plans.
