Position Highlights

The University of Arizona's Fred Fox School of Music is accepting applications for Limited Adjunct Instructor for undergraduate classes for Fall 2025. Anticipated disciplines include: Opera Scenes, Opera Production, Harp, Introduction to Music Theory, Orchestra Conductor, Composition, Organ, and Voice Class.
NOTE: The teaching schedule and hours will be dependent upon class assignment; assignment may be classroom-based, virtual or some combination thereof, depending on need and instructor preference. Hours will vary depending on courses taught but will not exceed 18 hours per week. Appointments are assigned for one semester.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Instruct undergraduate students in field of expertise.
  • Plan class lectures and assignments.
  • Grade assigned papers and exams.
  • Hold regular office hours.
  • Assign grades to students, based upon performance in
    class assignments and exams.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • A
    Master's degree in related discipline or equivalent professional credentials or
    certification.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Terminal Degree in related discipline.
  • 3+ years University level teaching experience in related discipline.
