Position Summary:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) to coordinate and manage multiple projects, programs, and operations to align with organizational strategic goals. This role requires advanced skills in portfolio oversight, resource allocation, and ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate multiple projects and programs to align with strategic goals
  • Provide oversight and guidance to project and program managers
  • Manage and allocate portfolio resources efficiently
  • Ensure deliverables are met on time and within defined constraints
  • Evaluate project and program performance against organizational priorities
  • Monitor portfolio risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support strategic decision-making and reporting for leadership


Basic Qualifications:



  • Certified Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP Certified)
  • Proven ability to manage and align complex programs and operations
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of strategic planning and execution
  • Must be a U.S. citizen


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working with emergency management, government, or defense portfolios
  • Proficiency with project and portfolio management software
  • Familiarity with PMI standards and methodologies


Other Requirements:



  • U.S. Citizenship Required: Yes
  • Performance Location: On-site while on assignment (location TBD)
  • Relocation Assistance: Not applicable
  • Clearance Required: None
  • Travel Required: Yes - up to 100% while on assignment


Working Environment:

Work is performed in Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), field environments, or remote coordination centers. Extended hours and travel may be required across the continental United States and its territories during emergency activations.
