What You'll Do
Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible to ensure that all required tasks on a project from proposal to final invoice payment are completed either by themselves or by subordinates. The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for the completion and overall success of the project. Senior Project Manager will act as the main point of contact for the client on their projects. The ideal candidate presents a positive customer service attitude and understanding of ECS Core Values. Key Responsibilities
- Progressive learning about field sampling of various media while working both indoors and outdoors.
- Daily communication with other ECS staff, project managers, and jobsite representatives.
- Interface with contractors and other site personnel on project sites daily.
- Attend project meetings with senior staff as requested.
- Understanding of relevant field sampling techniques, sample collection, and analytical result reporting.
- Calibration and use of sampling equipment, and documentation of results.
- Additional duties may include report production, daily field reporting, and other related tasks.
- Perform asbestos, lead-based paint, mold and indoor air quality assessments. Perform air and bulk media sampling. Monitor remediation and abatement of contaminated or hazardous building materials.
- Obtain relevant certifications as required to perform specific job duties.
- Conduct assessments for soil and groundwater. Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
Qualifications
Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other Engineering degree applicable to Environmental Consulting, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or other degree relevant to the practice of Environmental Consulting. 7+ years of Industrial Hygiene related experience CIH is strongly preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Experience with industrial health and safety, OSHA compliance, asbestos, mold, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of environmental principles and applications.
- Extensive knowledge of permitting processes, environmental regulations, and environmental test methods
- Extensive ability to manage and develop new clients. Seek out opportunities to develop relationships with clients.
- Review and provide feedback of field and laboratory testing by others. Perform training and/or corrective action as necessary.
- Excellent ability to manage and develop new clients
- Experience delegating/assigning projects and tasks to other staff while also managing other projects independently.
