The hiring range for this role is:

58,600.00 - 105,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range and this hiring range may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.This job is also eligible for annual bonus incentive pay.

This role supports the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, developing customer journey mapping, managing email lists, supporting Salesforce users, and creating documentation and training materials. Provides website support through technical oversight and maintenance, updating business data to power website tools. Participates in iterative design and implementation lifecycle with external vendors and supports testing and troubleshooting throughout the development lifecycle. Uses data to offer guidance and assistance in decision-making on functionality and effectiveness of campaigns, platforms and operations, along with driving improvements.

Primary Job Functions

  • Email Marketing: Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns to promote products or services, including development and subsequent application of customer journey mapping. Create and manage email lists, ensuring segmentation and targeting for personalized content. Create and maintain documentation and training materials and assist in user training to support tool adoption. Support Salesforce Marketing Cloud users in accessing accounts, reports, and dashboards. Monitor Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment, maintaining clean system hygiene to ensure accurate data reporting. Build and manage reports and dashboards to improve campaign efficiency. Maintain knowledge of existing and new Salesforce features and functionality, as well as provide recommendations for process improvements. Engage in the configuration and management of adjacent technologies and other applications that integrate with Salesforce.

  • Website: Maintain and update business data that helps power key tools and BCBS.com. Participate in iterative design and implementation lifecycle with external vendors, providing technical implementation and feasibility evaluation. Support testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process. Engage in the technical oversight and execution of front-end and back-end functionality across BCBSA's web properties. Assist in maintaining and reviewing site health, security, and compliance through proactive monitoring and issue resolution. Provide user support and utilize strong troubleshooting skills to solve complex technical problems with legacy applications and systems. Continue to expand domain knowledge and technical skills as it relates to web platforms and applications.

  • Data Analytics. Use data to offer guidance and assistance in decision-making on functionality and effectiveness of campaigns, platforms and operations, along with driving improvements. Assist in extracting data and performing analysis to inform critical business decisions. Assist in preparing and cleaning data across marketing systems.

Education, Experience and Certification

Education

Preferred: Bachelors Degree

Experience

Required: 3 years hands-on experience working in CRM, email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and website management systems (e.g., Liferay, dotCMS, SharePoint, AEM).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Intermediate understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL and its utilization in SFMC

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
