Job Summary:

Milacron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Analyst to design, implement, monitor, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of all data and voice network systems across on-premises, remote, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in networking, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to lead projects and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud-based network solutions.

  • Monitor and analyze network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure high availability and efficiency.

  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex network problems, conducting root cause analysis and long-term resolution.

  • Lead or support network infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and new site deployments.

  • Maintain and enforce network security standards, including firewalls, ACLs, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust policies.

  • Implement and maintain cloud networking (e.g., AWS VPCs, Azure VNets) and hybrid connectivity solutions (e.g., VPNs, SD-WAN).

  • Develop and maintain documentation for network diagrams, configurations, standards, and procedures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT and security teams on infrastructure planning, incident response, and compliance efforts.

  • Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business goals.

  • Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance and training as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise network administration or analysis, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role.

  • Expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Aruba, Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Dell, or similar enterprise-grade networking hardware.

  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, QoS, and DNS/DHCP.

  • Strong experience with firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and wireless infrastructure.

  • Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., CheckMK, Nagios, SolarWinds, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts and platforms (e.g., MS Azure).

  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIP, AWS Advanced Networking, or CompTIA Network+.

  • Experience with SD-WAN, VoIP, and unified communications platforms.

  • Working knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Ansible) to streamline network operations.

  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).

  • Experience supporting large, distributed enterprise or multi-site environments.

  • Experience with MS Azure cloud networking concepts and tools

  • Experience with the configuration and management of Check Point and/or Palo Alto firewalls

  • Experience with Aruba and/or Dell switches
