Job Summary

The HR Generalist is primarily responsible for providing support to the HR Business Partner team, ensuring a consistent approach to established processes and partnership with the HR Centers of Excellence. This role provides exposure to the HRBP role and how it functions within the broader HR and organizational ecosystem, as well as the opportunity to learn from an experienced group of HRBP professionals. The ideal candidate will have HR foundational knowledge with aspirations to further develop a career in HR with an emphasis on the HR Business Partner space.

Responsibilities
  • Provide HR Business Partner support for Corporate Functions which include: HR4HR, Legal, GA, ESG, Office of CEO/ Communications and Finance
  • Own sub-set of client groups within Corporate
  • Assist with communication planning, organizational design, and associated change management
  • Using available reporting and tools, oversee the position management process, including identifying and updating position numbers for use in new requisitions, and reviewing/updating vacant position data
  • Provide general administrative tracking, reporting, and support for annual people activities (goal setting, year-end reviews, compliance training, engagement/pulse surveys)
  • Obtaining and distributing progress/completion reporting for HRBPs to provide to leaders
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentation materials
  • Generating updated leader and/or employee email distribution lists
  • Assist with the creation and updating of organizational chartEnter and edit information in the HRIS database, SAP
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to current processes
  • Run a variety of ad-hoc reports, drawing insights and conducting analysis as needed
  • Support end to end employee life-cycle including, and not limited to: onboarding, leadership assimilation, engagement, talent, and compensation processes

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management or a related field preferred
  • 4+ years' experience in a corporate environment and experience in an HR role preferred
  • Proficient in Office 365, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with MS Power Point
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle a large of volume of data to tell a story
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities at once and prioritize without jeopardizing deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment, with the ability to change direction quickly and seamlessly
  • Process-improvement mindset, with an inclination for identifying more efficient ways of working
  • Professional communication with proactive and growth mindset
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees within the organization, including executive leaders
  • Strong written and verbal communication

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $77,112.00 - $110,160.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
