Site Director will oversee the entire City Sanctuary Facility provider operation at a specific sanctuary hotel site and will serve as the main liaison with the New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) Site Program Administrator. As a Site Director, your primary objective is to ensure the smooth functioning and success of the site under your supervision. Overall, as a Site Director, you play a pivotal role in driving the success of the site by ensuring operational excellence, fostering a positive work environment, and achieving organizational objectives. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Site Director: 90-95K Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Site Director Responsibilities Include:
Site Director Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience. Master's degree in social work or other human services field preferred. Two years of relevant experience working with people who enter the U.S. seeking asylum. 3+ years of experience in program management. Solid understanding of immigration laws, regulations, procedures, and benefits/entitlements. Experience working on-site in a congregate housing setting. Experience working with the NYC Department of Homeless Services shelter system. Must be organized as well as, have excellent verbal, written and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families, collaborating agencies, and community professionals. Strong customer service/ hospitality background, preferably with immigrant populations. Able to effectively manage significant administrative and process documentation. A self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision and work independently. Able to prioritize and be accountable for timeliness to complete projects in a timely manner. Possess sensitivity to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics. Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize duties and responsibilities efficiently. Spanish/English bilingual is preferred but not required. Past applicable job experience may include, but is not limited to: Site Manager, Regional Manager, and/or Operations Manager. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
