Onsite Release of Information (ROI) Specialist Location: Beverly Hills, CA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Release of Information (ROI) Specialist to join a close-knit team in a medical office setting. This role is responsible for processing medical record requests in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, while delivering exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities * Complete release of information requests, including retrieving, scanning, and transmitting patient medical records daily * Date stamp all incoming requests and highlight key data to expedite processing * Validate authorizations for release of information in accordance with policies and procedures * Respond to customer inquiries regarding patient information and assist with record requests * Educate customers on confidentiality and privacy regulations * Prioritize and process requests from multiple sources within required timeframes * Ensure proper storage and maintenance of medical files * Maintain a high level of confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations * Identify and respond appropriately to internal and external customer needs Required Qualifications * Minimum 3 years of experience in Release of Information (ROI) * Proficiency with ROI Navigator Module in EPIC (required) * Strong customer service and communication skills * High level of confidentiality and understanding of HIPAA regulations * Accuracy in data entry and processing * Experience with e-faxing and PDF applications Employee Value Proposition * Supportive, team-oriented environment * Smaller office setting with no direct patient care responsibilities * Opportunity to work in a respected healthcare setting with a strong commitment to privacy and compliance Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
