How does this role contribute to our collective success?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Change Management Lead to join our Transformation team, reporting to the Capacity Planning Lead. This new role will be pivotal in driving the successful implementation of strategic change initiatives, ensuring seamless adoption of new technology, operational improvements, and organizational change across AXIS. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of change management principles, a strong background in technology and Agile-based delivery, and the ability to lead and inspire teams through complex transformations.

What will you do in this role?

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies for technology initiatives.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption and integration of new technologies.

  • Collaborate with business leaders and product owners to align change management efforts with stated objectives and key results (OKRs).

  • Enhance stakeholder engagement to ensure clarity and support for change impacts

  • Develop project specific and enterprise level communications to prepare for and execute change activities, including training and transition to new technologies and processes

  • Align change activities with sprint-based incremental delivery to encourage a continuous improvement and adaptive culture

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology changes.

  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the change process.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities and make necessary adjustments.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

  • Travel as required to various company locations.

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

About You:

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in change management, with a focus on technology.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technology transformations.

  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and best practices.

  • Experience establishing and managing change impacts within an incremental delivery structure

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

  • Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable.

  • Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Role Factors:

In this role, you will typically be required to:

Embrace the hybrid culture offered at AXIS, you need to be in office 3 days per week.

Much of the work involves using computers for data entry, analysis, and communication. Comfort with prolonged screen time is necessary.

While much of the work may be desk-bound, there might be occasions requiring mobility within the office environment, such as attending meetings or accessing filing systems.

What we offer:

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $170,000 - $225,000 (NY/NJ). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.

In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance. On top of this, you will be eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package which includes medical plans for you and your family, health and wellness programs, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, and much more.
