The Position

As an Events Partner on the Indianapolis Site Experience Team, you'll be the driving force behind unforgettable internal events, from cultural celebrations to engagement initiatives, fostering a dynamic and connected workplace. Beyond internal programming, you'll also craft a visionary strategy to transform our corporate space into a premier venue for external events, creating new opportunities for revenue generation. The Opportunity

As part of the Site Experience Team in Indianapolis, the Events Partner is responsible for strategically leading the internal events and site experience program to ensure exceptional engagement and satisfaction for employees. This individual will also build the long-term roadmap to elevate our corporate space for potential external event use and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee the annual calendar of internal events, including employee engagement initiatives, cultural celebrations, appreciation events, etc.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external event stakeholders, building strong partnerships.

  • Collaborate with the YMCA to co-manage the Employee Summer Camp program for dependents.

  • Serve as the strategic lead for employee cafes and catering programs, partnering with vendors to ensure quality and innovation.

  • Oversee the formation and support of employee-led hobby clubs and interest groups.

  • Lead site experience communications (digital signage, event newsletters, site announcements).

  • Develop a long-term strategy to enable corporate space to become a rentable venue for external parties, including pricing models, vendor partnerships, and marketing.

  • Own the events budget and ensure cost-effective, high-impact programming.

  • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders (P&C, Facilities, Communications, Security, etc.) to ensure alignment and shared goals.

  • Track event KPIs and employee satisfaction metrics to continuously improve.

Who you are

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate, hospitality, or venue event planning, including strategic planning and stakeholder management.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple complex programs.

  • Exceptional vendor management and partnering skills.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.

  • Expertise in budget and vendor management.

  • Creative, collaborative, and solutions-oriented.

  • Experience building new programs or business models is a plus.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.

  • CMP or other professional event certification preferred.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $75,000 - $139,200 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
