The Office of Information Technology (
OIT) is seeking a Temporary Deployment Technician to support the Managed Desktop Service (
OITMD). This role involves configuring and troubleshooting workstations (desktops, laptops, and supported devices), deploying operating systems and applications, and resolving technical issues both in person and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and image endpoints, deploy applications, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Provide support for operating systems, applications, and basic networking
- Maintain accurate records of work progress using the call tracking system
- Deliver high-quality customer service and communicate technical information clearly to end users
- Collaborate with IT colleagues to ensure effective support and resolution of issues
