USESI/Monarch Electric has an immediate opening within our Manhattan, NY office for a Switchgear Project Management role. The role will transfer to Teterboro, NJ after 6 months. We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our team!

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our Switchgear Department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of our projects, fostering strong client relationships, and driving our company's growth.

Job Description:
As a Project Manager in the Switchgear Department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with our team, clients, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a balance of office presence and remote work, with 2-3 days a week in our Manhattan office and Teterboro, NJ site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage switchgear projects, ensuring all objectives and deadlines are met.

  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure project success.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and reports.

  • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress and address any issues.

  • Provide strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with all stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.

  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

  • Foster a proactive work environment, both in-office and remotely.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in the electrical or switchgear industry

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient when working from home.

  • Proficient with computer software and file systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to commute to our Manhattan office 2-3 days a week.
