Job Title: Information Systems Security Specialist II

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Information Systems Security Specialist II to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cybersecurity compliance tests and ensuring adherence to security protocols. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage documentation and communicate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cybersecurity compliance tests as outlined in the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Perform scans in accordance with Security Assessment Plans (SAPs).
  • Prepare and submit a Preliminary Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) for review upon completion of each compliance test.
  • Distribute vulnerability packages via Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) to the cognizant Information Systems. Security Officer (ISSO) for review after compliance tests.
  • Create and update documentation for new or revised Authorization to Operate (ATO).
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all security measures are effectively implemented and maintained.

Requirements
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, CMMI, LINUX+, Windows 10 Administrator
  • ACAS Assured Compliance Assessment Solution
  • MUST be a US Citizen
  • Must have active Secret Clearance

Education Requirements:

  • BS or MS Degree (Military Experience)
  • Security+ Certification to be CSWF Compliant
  • Minimal IAWF/CSWF Requirements: IAT-II Certification
