Temple University's College of Education is searching for a Temporary Administrative Coordinator.

Position Summary:

CEHD is searching for an Administrative Coordinator to provide advanced and diversified administrative support for the Office of the Dean. The Administrative Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the office including reception coverage, supply management, maintaining office equipment, mail sending and receiving and conference room reservations/oversight.

The Administrative Coordinator will manage the calendar of the Dean, ensuring clear communication, prioritizing the Dean's goals and optimizing efficient use of time and energy. The Administrative Coordinator will make business travel arrangements for the Dean and create and submit expense reports for any needed reimbursement.

This position will also support the Dean's Office events with preparation and day-of needs by reserving space, assisting with coordination of set-up and break-down, managing any catering needs, procuring event supplies, paying invoices or submitting contracts for approval, and managing invitations and RSVPs as needed.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:

* Ability to effectively interact with individuals at various levels of the organization, including leadership and peers

* Strong interpersonal skills that will represent the Dean's Office and drive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

* Ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and accurately in various forms of communications

* Comfort working with digital tools, software, and systems relevant to the role

*Ability to anticipate and resolve issues with creative solutions

*Ability to work independently and as a team member

*Possess an excellent customer service and professional acumen
