Temple University's Center for Executive Education is searching for a Business Development Specialist!

Salary Range: $41,250 - $60,000

A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant's education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.

Position Summary
The Center for Executive Education at Temple University's Fox School of Business develops and delivers programs designed to support the professional development needs of corporations, not-for-profits, organizations, and university clients. The Center collaborates with faculty and subject matter experts to offer open enrollment programs, as well as customized programming to meet the specific needs of the Center's partners.

Reporting to the Center's Managing Director, this position will be responsible for identifying prospective clients and partnerships, with the goal of driving sales revenue for the Center. This role will support the cultivation of client relationships, offering partner organizations a variety of educational programming (non-credit workshops, certificate programs, customized professional development, etc.) while also promoting graduate degree programs offered by the Fox School of Business.

Required Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree
* At least three (3) years of experience in corporate sales, business development, account management, customer relationship management, consultancy selling, or a related field
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience
* Prior experience in the executive education field
* Experience with strategic planning or project management

Required Skills and Abilities
* Knowledge of sales tactics and best practices
* Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects with varying deadlines
* Ability to comfortably engage with an executive audience
* Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
* Ability to quickly form relationships with prospective clients and offer Center services
* Skilled in oral and written communication and comfort with public speaking
* Strong organizational skill and attention to detail
* Skilled in customer/client service both in-person and virtually
* Proficient in standard business software applicants such as Microsoft Office, Teams/Zoom or other teleconferencing applications, sales software, etc.
* Ability to gather and analyze data
* Ability to travel to locations that may not be accessible by public transportation * Ability to work nights/weekends/early mornings

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
