What this job involves:

This position is responsible for assisting with the implementation and promotion of employee commute programs, including parking, shuttles, rideshare, carpool, bike, and walk options. The Commute Program & Customer Experience Coordinator will also support transportation demand management (TDM) initiatives by coordinating commute-related events, engaging with vendors, and helping manage programs like vanpool. This hybrid role blends employee-facing customer service with behind-the-scenes logistical and administrative support to enhance the overall employee commute experience.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Provide timely and friendly customer service to client employees seeking information about commute options
  • Coordinate distribution of transportation passes, permits, and commute materials while managing support requests through a ticket system
  • Create and maintain program documentation including policies, templates, and service records
  • Track program KPIs and projects using tools such as SmartSheet and Excel; generate reports on commuter behavior and program performance
  • Lead and support in-person and virtual events to promote commute programs and provide benefit education
  • Support vanpool operations, including onboarding coordination and documentation management
  • Assist in administering annual employee commute surveys required for compliance with local, county, and state ordinances
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • Excellence in written and verbal communication across multiple channels (email, phone, in-person, virtual)
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, balancing urgent requests with ongoing projects
  • Strong organizational skills and proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work flexible schedules based on business need
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Transportation experience or knowledge of transit systems
  • Comfort with meeting and engaging people while hosting on-site events
  • Ability to present information in engaging formats to various audience sizes
  • Experience reading and interpreting road maps or using GPS/directional devices
  • Ability to lift and move 30-40 pound boxes and operate a two-wheel dolly
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively in team environments
  • Adaptability to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
