As an Assembler , you will play a crucial role in assembling electronic components for high-stakes aerospace and defense applications. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic transmitter subassemblies and full systems using computer-controlled work instructions, BOMs, and technical drawings
  • Use standard hand tools and torque drivers to carry out precise mechanical assembly operations
  • Prepare and route wiring, including bundling, lacing, spot-tying, and dressing per drawing requirements
  • Perform miniature soldering on connectors and wire terminations to Class 3 standards
  • Inspect assemblies and terminations; rework as required to meet quality standards
  • Maintain proper ESD handling procedures and ensure workstations and manufacturing areas remain clean, organized, and safe (5S/6S compliant)
  • Complete all required documentation including travelers, as-built records, inspection checklists, and customer/DCMA forms with full traceability
  • Collaborate with team members and manufacturing engineering to troubleshoot build issues and process improvements
  • Support transmitter teardown, rework, and peer training on best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Stand for extended periods; handle small components with precision
  • Lift up to 25 lbs as needed
  • Work in ESD-controlled production areas; wear PPE as required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience as an electronic assembler
  • Ability to interpret and follow process sheets, blueprints, routing cards, parts lists, ECOs, and PRNs
  • Strong documentation habits and attention to quality
  • This role involves access to controlled technology and materials; applicants must be a U.S. Person under U.S. export laws (or eligible for government export license)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, and Mil-Spec standards
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or government contract manufacturing environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely
  • Effective communicator; comfortable working both independently and on a team
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and deadlines

Hourly Range: Assembler II: $18.52 - $25.95; Assembler III: $20.41 - $29.62 (Lansdale, PA). Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
