We're hiring an Inventory Control & Warehouse Associate to play a key role in managing inventory systems and warehouse processes at our growing North American Headquarters. This is a computer-driven but physically active role - perfect for someone who's great with software, enjoys staying on the move, and thrives in an organized, fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who is:
- Detail-oriented and highly accurate - you'll be counting and recording inventory constantly.
- Comfortable using technology - most of your work is done with computers, barcode scanners, and ERP systems (Microsoft D365).
- Happy to be on your feet - while this isn't a traditional warehouse job, you'll be on your feet much of the day, walking, counting, organizing, and moving light to moderate inventory.
- Note: You will use equipment like pallet jacks and dollies daily, but the majority of your work (~80-90%) is not focused on offloading trucks or moving pallets.
The Inventory Control Associate (Logistics/Operations) is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting efficient warehouse operations, and ensuring that all materials are correctly received, tracked, and stored. This is a detail-oriented position that blends technical computer work with hands-on inventory tasks. Success in this role depends on strong organization, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to stay focused while moving with purpose throughout the day. This role plays a key part in optimizing inventory accuracy and supporting overall supply chain efficiency. Additionally, this role requires the ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality - staying focused, moving with purpose, and completing tasks quickly and accurately is paramount.
This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week in-person position based at our current office in Pittsburgh's South Side. Please note that we will be relocating to Moon Township near the airport in October 2025, and the role will continue to be in-person at that location. Your days will be filled with:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments of materials and products.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits- counting and logging inventory is a daily responsibility.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and clean warehouse areas. Cleaning is a regular, ongoing part of this role.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and barcode scanners.
- Enter and update inventory data in Microsoft D365 using both the computer and hand scanner.
- Build kits using planned production schedules.
- Utilize Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Teams/Outlook to communicate data with other departments.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Record and upload shipping manifests from carriers, take notes on shipments, and collect packing slips.
- Successfully utilize the Vendor Portal to find documents related to shipments.
- Isolate and process nonconforming materials- physically and in the computer.
- Process customer returns to ensure the timely and accurate reflection of inventories and make proper disposition of returned products.
- Process undeliverable packages to ensure the timely re-shipment of goods to customers.
- Participate actively in identifying opportunities to improve warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
- Help maintain documentation of process changes and ensure compliance with updated procedures.
- Perform various other tasks assigned by manager.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Experience with ERP and WMS systems (we use Microsoft D365).
- Knowledge of lean warehousing or 5S principles.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to take thorough, accurate notes.
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to quickly learn software systems.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and shared drives.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions carefully.
- Comfortable with daily light to moderate physical labor, cleaning tasks, and repetitive movements in a warehouse setting.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. (occasionally heavier with help).
- Standing and Walking: Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the warehouse.
- Bending and Stooping: Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to access inventory and storage areas.
- Reaching and Handling: Regular reaching overhead and handling of materials and equipment.
- Climbing: Occasional use of ladders or step stools to access high shelves.
- Utilizing Equipment: Daily use of pallet jacks, dollies, and occasionally forklifts (training provided).
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Cleaning products, tools, and equipment are part of daily operations.
