We're looking for ahands-on Electrical Shop Floor Technicianto join our team inExport, PA. If you're passionate aboutelectrical systems, automation, and industrial assembly, this is your chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
Your Impact
As an Electrical Shop Floor Technician, you'll:
- Assemble, wire, and test custom-engineered vacuum systems.
- Perform final system wiring, control panel builds, and motor starter installations.
- TroubleshootPLC programming, system communications, and electrical connections.
- Read and interpretschematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and BOMs.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with Engineering and vendors.
- Conduct leak checks, high-voltage testing, and ensure zero-defect quality.
- Travel to customer sites (up to 20%) for installations and support.
- Promote6S and Lean Manufacturingpractices on the shop floor.
What You Bring
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required; 2-year technical degree preferred.
- 3-5 years inindustrial electrical or electromechanical assembly.
Technical Skills:
- Strong electrical aptitude with mechanical assembly experience.
- Skilled inPLC troubleshooting, control panel wiring, and system testing.
- Proficient with hand tools, pneumatic tools, voltmeters, micrometers, and test equipment.
- Experience withoverhead/jib cranesand material handling equipment.
Soft Skills:
- Team-oriented with leadership potential.
- Detail-focused and customer-driven.
- Comfortable withMS Office, email, and virtual collaboration tools.
Work Environment & Scope
- Location:Export, PA (North America coverage)
- Travel:Up to 20%, including overnight trips
- Work Cycle:Daily hands-on role in vacuum system assembly
- Physical Requirements:Lift up to 40 lbs, work in industrial settings with exposure to mechanical parts, noise, and occasional high-voltage equipment
