Interventional Radiology Tech 1 (IR Tech)

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist 1 to join the team. This role will be Day shift, M-F, (4) 10 hr. shifts. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

IR Tech 1 Job Responsibilities:

• Assists radiation safety by maintaining safe practices.
• Assists team and customers with prompt room turnover.
• Recognizes adverse clinical situations and helps other personnel to do so.
• Accurately implements computer orders for all Interventional Radiology functions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: graduate of an accredited school of nursing, or school of cardiovascular technology or radiology technology
• Licensure: Licensed in Virginia as a Rad Tech required only if the position is located in a free standing center not affiliated with an Inova health system hospital.
• Certification: BLS from AHA Upon Start, ARRT within 12 months
