The Dairy Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dairy department, keeping shelves full, products fresh, and the department organized and running efficiently. This hands-on leadership role includes managing ordering and inventory, checking dates and rotation, setting priorities for daily replenishment, and supporting and guiding team members throughout each shift. The Dairy Lead works closely with store leadership to maintain strong sales, minimize shrink, and ensure company standards are consistently met. The position is active and physical, involving frequent lifting, repetive motion such as bending and reaching, and standing or walking most of the shift. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, reliability, and a customer-first mindset are essential, and weekend availability is required. The Giant Company is an equal opportunity employer.
