KARL STORZ is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler I to join our Imaging team in Charlton, MA. In this role, you will assemble high-quality endoscope imaging systems, working in a cleanroom environment with precision optical and mechanical components.

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble intricate optical/mechanical components using microscopes and hand tools
  • Perform tasks such as epoxying, polishing, cleaning, and inspection
  • Follow written assembly procedures and meet productivity/quality standards
  • Cross-train across other value streams as needed
  • Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with team members
  • Comply with FDA, ISO 13485/9001 standards and all safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 year experience in miniature precision assembly (medical products preferred)
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and follow SOPs and technical drawings
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and with chemicals/adhesives
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of microscope use
  • Ability to wear cleanroom attire and gloves
  • Able to lift, move, and perform assembly in a dynamic team environment
